Fiorentina striker Bobby Duncan could be about to move to Sunderland on loan, according to reports.
The former Liverpool youngster is set for a loan move with a view to making it permanent should he prove to be a success at the Stadium of Light.
Duncan, whose move from Liverpool to Italy is subject of much infamy, has an impressive record with the U19s in Tuscany and could be persuaded to join the Black Cats for more first-team football.
Sunderland are looking to make late improvements to their squad after picking up another three points on the road at Tranmere last night.
According to Alan Nixon, one of those could be 18-year-old Bobby Duncan. The Black Cats are now only five points behind second place Wycombe, with a game in hand.
Sunderland. Surprise move for striker Bobby Duncan. Ex Liverpool kid who went to Fiorentina. Loan with a view. Could get game time with Phil Parkinson.

Phil Parkinson’s men have won four of their last five games and are currently unbeaten in nine matches in League One. They face a big game on the south coast against Portsmouth at the weekend, another side on a good run of form.
