Sheffield Wednesday are reportedly keeping a close eye on the fluid situation regarding Swansea forward Kyle Joseph, according to reports.

The Owls are taking an interest in the youngster with Portsmouth already linked to the Championship striker.

The 20-year-old is looking to go out on loan again this season after playing in League One with Cheltenham Town during the 2021/22 campaign.

The Swansea man, according to Wales Online, is being watched carefully by Sheffield Wednesday as Darren Moore looks to give himself more options in attack.

They may face competition from Danny Cowley’s Portsmouth for the player, shower, with the South Coast club keen to add to their forward line this summer.

Joseph netted four times in 19 league appearances while on loan at Cheltenham Town last season and the former Wigan youngster will look to continue his development with another temporary switch in 2022/23.

The Owls have been busy this summer, already adding the likes of Michael Ihiekwe and Michael Smith from Rotherham United and they do not appear to be done in the transfer market yet.

Wednesday host Porstmouth, coincidently, on the opening day of the new season before a tough match-up in Buckinghamshire against MK Dons a week later.
