Forest Green Rovers are set to sign Oxford United winger Rob Hall on loan until the end of the season.

The League Two side have been on a rotten run of form that has seen them slip out of the play-off places and Mark Cooper is looking to strengthen during this window.

He has already signed Josh March out of non-league and is now looking to bring in Oxford United’s popular winger Rob Hall, according to the Football Insider.

Hall has struggled to find regular first-team football with the Yellows following a long spell out with knee problems but a spell in League Two could be ideal if he is able to get some more game time.

Hall is a skillful winger and a popular figure at the Kassam but has only started three games in the league this season with other players in top form blocking his path.

The Green Devils have only won two of their last nine matches and were beaten by Salford City at the weekend despite the Ammies finishing the game with only nine men.

Hall, a West Ham academy graduate, is quick, skillful and able to contribute going forward, an area Forest Green have really lacked this season despite their good start to the campaign.

Hall could well make his debut at the weekend when the Nailsworth club travel to Macclesfield Town.
