Scunthorpe striker Olufela Olomola is being targetted by a number of clubs including Exeter, Tranmere, MK Dons and Plymouth Argyle according to reports.
The forward, currently on loan at League Two Carlisle, has scored six goals in 14 starts for the Cumbrians this season and is being chased by several sides looking to increase their firepower.
MK Dons are in desperate need of striking options while Exeter, Tranmere and Argyle have also been named in the mix according to the Football Insider.
Sources at the Iron suggest that Paul Hurst’s outfit will recall the striker in January if they receive a suitable offer for the 22-year-old and with two League One sides looking in desperate need of strengthening up top, this outcome seems probable.
Olomola, formerly of both Arsenal and Southampton, netted in the Cumbrian’s 4-1 win over Dulwich Hamlet in the FA Cup and has netted five times in the league this season.
His physical presence and eye for goal will fit the bill for a number of managers looking to strengthen their weak attacking lines but it will mean Carlisle are left without their top-scorer, another problem for the beleaguered Cumbrians, who sacked manager Steven Pressley today, to deal with.
