We asked a fan of each team give us their thoughts on the 2018-19 season. Have a read of their responses and enjoy!
1.In your opinion, how did 2018/19 go for your side?
I thought we could make the play-offs at the beginning of the season, it has been one of the first seasons the core of the squad has been kept together. I would never have predicted the FA Cup antics, but the financial windfall will be priceless for Newport. It has been the most exciting, entertaining season I have ever witnessed as a football fan.
OK, so we didn't get the result we wanted on Saturday but what a season it's been. Thanks to everyone who has helped on our journey so far … and it's not over yet! #UTC #OurJourneyContinues #OneClubOneCounty #PortHour pic.twitter.com/yyIpeRrtli

2.What was your favourite moment in 2018/19?
I wasn’t there for Matt’s late goal at Morecambe, so Amond’s penalty against Leicester lives long in the memory.
3.What was your worst moment of 2018
It has to be the last minute of the play-off final.
4.Which player impressed you most on your team?
Padraig Amond – he did it all, he scored goals, he assisted goals, he pressed high up the field, he played in midfield at times, he covered the full backs when they were out of position, he did not stop!
Absolutely gutted that we were so close yesterday. This season has been a hell of a journey and I couldn’t have had a better set of team mates to share it with @NewportCounty pic.twitter.com/12BxAivOw9

5.Which opposition player made the biggest impression?
I thought Danny Mayor looked superb when Newport played at Bury, he was a class above. Scott Bennett marked him out of the game at Rodney Parade mind.
6.What are your hopes for 2019/20
We will see which players stay on and who deservedly gets their chance at a higher level. It could be difficult if there is a high turnover of players; but Flynn is fantastic at getting players to play above all expectations, so regardless, I hope for a competitive season.
7.Which area of the team needs the most improvement for next season?
We’ll likely need a new keeper, defence and fill gaps in midfield, but overall there seems to be a lack of control in midfield. I’m hopeful Sheehan and Labadie will stay, but we need someone who can pick-up the ball and take it forward, exactly what Antoine Semenyo did for us during his loan spell.
