Fosu signed for Charlton in 2017 for an undisclosed fee and has made 57 appearances during his time at The Valley, scoring 11 times. However, Fosu disappointed for the Addicks last season and has now been deemed surplus to requirements by the recently promoted club.
This news has received mixed reaction from Addicks fans. Some see his departure as a disappointing one, due to his abilities shown two seasons ago. On the other side of the debate, some are pleased to see him leave; he disappointed after picking up an injury in the last campaign with some fans questioning his attitude.

Lee Bowyer had offered Fosu a new contract, but the troubled London club is thought to have done this to ensure they can receive a compensatory fee for the midfielder.
His arrival at Grenoble Road would further build on what is becoming a formidable Oxford side and Karl Robinson has previously got the best out of Fosu during his time at Charlton – indeed he was the manager that brought him to The Valley.
