Doncaster Rovers manager Darren Moore has praised new head of recruitment Adam Henshall as the club prepare for the January transfer window.
Doncaster have been suffering due to injuries over the last few weeks and are looking at bringing in at least a couple of new players during the winter window.
Darren Moore has been quick to praise the club’s new talent identification manager Adam Henshall, who joined the League One outfit from Shrewsbury last week and hopes his presence will be a great benefit to the team.
“It’s great by the football club that we’ve managed to get Adam Henshall in to do some work,” said the former West Brom boss.
“He’s working around the clock.
“It’s good for me then as a manager to then try to focus more on the team.
“There’s a staffing structure in place and that can settle down.
“There’s been a lot of things changing here since the start of the season and we keep working.
Although there is a lot of focus on the upcoming transfer window, Doncaster have a lot of games to get through before then and Darren Moore admitted he will have to get through this busy period with the squad he currently has.
“I’d like to bring one or two in because I think we need some help.
“And hopefully by then we’ll get one or two off the treatment table and the squad will look a lot fresher and more in-depth in coping with the demands.
“It looks like we’re going into the Christmas period with the squad that we’ve got but we’ll meet it head-on.”
Doncaster face a trip to Wimbledon at the weekend before games against Accrington, Peterborough, Sunderland and Oxford as they head into the new year.
