Ipswich Town have agreed to sign Plymouth Argyle midfielder Panutche Camara, according to reports.
The former Crawley man has not played this season for the Pilgrims due to injury and with plenty of midfield options already in the building, it appears the player will be leaving Home Park.
Ipswich Town have, according to a report by Football Insider, agreed a fee of £500,000 to bring the Guinea-Bissau international to Portman Road.
Camara made over 100 appearances for Crawley where he won many admirers for his work rate and tenacity in the centre of the park prompting a move to Plymouth Argyle in 2020.
He did well in his two seasons with the Pilgrims, making 94 appearances in all competitions, scoring 10 goals.
Kieran McKenna’s side have started really well in League One, bagging 14 points from their opening six games. They sit top of the table as things stand are will be looking to strengthen an already very good squad before the 11pm deadline.
The Tractor Boys are unbeaten so far in the league and face a trip to Accrington Stanley at the weekend.
