The 18-year-old made his senior debut for the Villan last season and has appeared twice for the first team during the current campaign.

Ramsey won Villa’s Academy Player of the Season last year and has been in excellent from in the Under-23s in Premier League 2 this season, netting six and assisting four in 12 matches.

He has played for England at U18 and U19 level and Dean Smith is keen for him to get some first-team experience by heading out on loan.

Donny’s 3-1 win against Southend on Tuesday has left them just four points from a play-off spot as they face back-to-back away games against Fleetwood and Tranmere next week.
