Forever been a southend local and so have seen much ‘football’ within the four stands of Roots Hall. Currently a student looking to venture into a course such as sports journalism, and I definitely have a lot to say about some of Southend’s performances.
1. Team supported: Southend United
2. First match attended & the year: Southend 5-0 QPR 9th February 2007. I was 6 years old, and quite frankly had absolutely no idea what was going on
3. Most memorable match: Southend (7)1-1(6) Wycombe. League two play-off final 2015, Joe Pigott equalises in the 122nd minute to take us to penalties, then stepped up Dan Bentley
4. Favourite player of all time: Adam Barrett. Unbelievably passionate and led us to great things, a legend of the club
5. Things you like least about modern football: New soulless stadiums that lack character
6. Favourite flavour crisps: None- as I don’t like crisps (is that weird)
