Kevin Halls, D3D4 Coventry City Correspondent
I’ve been a Sky Blues supporter since the halcyon days of Jimmy Hill and what a rollercoaster ride it’s been. From the Third Division up to the Premier League and now back down to the bottom tier. But using a boxing analogy you take the punches, get knocked down, but get to your feet and carry on. Once a fan always a fan, take the bad times but enjoy the good moments when they come. I also write for Late Tackle magazine, and belong to Football Poets.
1.Team Supported: Coventry City
2.First Match Attended & the Year: Coventry City vs Kings Lynn, Highfield Road, FA Cup, 1961
3.Most Memorable Match: Coventry City 3-2 Spurs, Wembley, FA Cup Final 1987
4.Your favourite player of all time: Jimmy Greaves. Goal scoring machine. I met him once and was so starstruck I barely spoke.
5.Things you like least about modern football: Obscene wages and the cost of players. Sitting down at games. Players diving and cheating and owners of clubs who know nothing about fans passion, but happily destroy their clubs through mismanagement and poor decisions.
6.Favourite flavour crisps: Cheese and Onion
