Cheltenham Town are set to sign Forest Green front man Reuben Reid after agreeing a deal to bring the danger man to Whaddon Road.
The 30-year-old was transfer listed by Mark Cooper this summer and looks set to become the second striker to cross the Gloucestershire divide according to reports.
Tahvon Campbell has already joined the Robins from the Green Devils during the current window as Michael Duff hopes to build a side capable of a more consistent attacking threat.
Reid has had several clubs since starting his career at Plymouth Argyle. The striker, who is powerfully built, has played for Exeter, Rotherham, West Brom, Oldham and Yeovil not to mention a number of loan spells.
He has netted an impressive 130 times during his career but has often struggled to settle in one place for too long.
The Bristol-based forward only joined Forest Green in January 2018 and netted seven time in 20 starts last season at the Nailsworth club but he has been deemed surplus to requirement by Mark Cooper.
Cheltenham will now make him their third signing of the summer following the arrivals of Charlie Raglan from Oxford United and Tahvon Campbell, also from Forest Green.
The fixtures have been released and Cheltenham will face newly promoted Leyton Orient on the opening day at Brisbane Road.
