We asked a fan of each team give us their thoughts on the 2018-19 season. Have a read of their responses and enjoy!

  1. In your opinion, how did 2018-19 go for your side?

Defiently could of done better 😂 but to come from 15 points adrift with only 13 games to go and stay up right at the end if the season is a big achievement so all in all, it was a decent season. We also beat West Ham 4-2 in the FA cup so in that case, it went pretty well.

  1. What was your favourite moment in 2018-19? 

Beating Wycombe on the penultimate weekend and being out of the relegation zone for the first time in 189 days

  1. What was your worst moment in 2018-19?

Seeing Aaron Ramsdale going back to Bournemouth after an incredible loan spell with us that helped keep us up.

  1. Which player impressed you the most on your team? 

Will Nightingale, captained the side for a majority of the season amd he is still a young player but showed great character to lead the line.

  1. Which opposition player made the biggest impression? 

In my opinion Sean Scannel for Bradford, he is a very quick and skillful player. Bradford have gone down so hopefully we can nab him off them

  1. What are your hopes for 2019-20? 

At least mid-table. Our form with wally Downes this season would of got us play offs or just outside so with a one or two key players leaving I am hoping we can achieve mid table. I also hope we can do the double over mk 😉

  1. Which area of the team needs most improvement for next season?

Defiently strikers, we had the lowest goal tally in the league last season, so we need an extra couple strikers that can score consistently in league 1 because that was a key issue last season.
